RecipeWallah ("we," "our," or "us") is deeply committed to safeguarding your personal privacy. This Privacy Policy details the types of information processed through our web portal (https://www.recipewallah.in/) and our Android mobile application, and explains our client-side storage architecture.

1. Information Collection & Local-First Processing

A. Health, Fitness & Biometric Profile

RecipeWallah enables you to configure a personal Health Profile (such as age, height, weight, BMI, allergens, and dietary goals) to receive customized nutritional recommendations and workout routines.

• 100% Local Storage: All health metrics and workout session histories are saved exclusively on your local device via encrypted storage.
• Zero Server Database Retention: We do NOT transmit, record, or store your personal health data on central cloud servers.
• AI Query Purpose: Health metrics are utilized strictly in temporary memory to customize the prompts submitted to our AI inference models.

B. Camera & Vision Intelligence

The Android app requests camera permission to provide the Live Exercise Rep Counter and Medical Document Scanner.

• On-Device ML Processing: When tracking exercise repetitions, video frames are processed instantaneously on your device using Google ML Kit. Frames are never recorded, cached to disk, or sent to any server.
• Medical Report OCR: Diagnostic report images uploaded for AI simplification are securely transmitted via HTTPS for real-time inference and discarded immediately afterwards.

C. Geolocation Data

Approximate and exact location permissions are used solely to recommend regional Indian recipes and local culinary dishes in real-time. Location data is never persistently logged or shared with third parties.

2. Third-Party Services & Monetization

• Google AdMob: We utilize Google Mobile Ads to deliver non-intrusive banner, interstitial, and rewarded ads. AdMob may process device identifiers in compliance with Google's Privacy Policy.
• AI Providers: Recipe generation and report summaries are processed via OpenAI and Google Gemini APIs under strict enterprise agreements that prohibit training foundational models on user queries.

3. User Data Sovereignty & Rights

Because your data is stored locally, clearing application data or uninstalling the app permanently deletes all saved recipes, profiles, and history with no lingering cloud records.
